Description
Orphaned in the Orc Wars and adopted into a human family, Garr tried hard to fit into human society. When he came of age he joined the military but failed to pass his tests due to low intelligence. However, he was enlisted in the work gangs. After decades of service and digging trenches, Garr retired from the military with an honorable discharge. As a Veteran, he moved to the big city with new found respect. After several fateful encounters with the church of Kord (Greyhawk), Garr was solicited by a Kordite paladin. After years of campaigning with the paladin, Garr finally took his vows and joined the church as a multi-class paladin-rogue-fighter. Several years later and a few party campaigns later, Garr found himself an ex-paladin, falling out of the favor of Kord. Training in the wilderness as a Ranger, Garr met a strange ex-paladin holy liberator who performed a ritual that allowed him to regain his paladin abilities and take on the title as a Holy Liberator with an abominable will.
